One of the most commonly used materials in injection molding is ABS: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene. ABS is a thermoplastic material known for its high impact resistance and toughness. Furthermore, it exhibits good resistance to scratching and rigidity with an excellent dimensional stability. ABS also works well in conjunction with metal coatings due to them being able to adhere strongly to ABS material. Due to it's thermoplastic properties ABS is easily plastic injection molded. ABS has a low melting temperature and is also an inexpensive material.

ABS molded parts are used in a wide range of industries, such as manufacturing, automotive, medical, and marine. Automobile parts manufacturing is the most know use of ABS. Nowdays ABS has application in 3D printing technology also.  ABS is a common engineering grade plastic and it is used in many products around you, particularly electronic enclosures.

Screw barrel for Polyolefins, PE-HD Processing in Injection Molding

Gas nitriding- Thickness from 0.5 to 0.7 mm, hardness ~ 60-70 HRC ~ 1000 HV.
 
Production time- Within 4 weeks depending on the complexity of the part.
 
Nitriding: Gas medium, Liquid medium, Plasma Medium (Require special order from customer)
 
Bimetalllic coating: ranging from 4% tungsten carbide powder coating to 88% tungesten carbide powder via HVOF robotic technology. (Require special order from customer)
