We, Raj Engineering Works, are manufacturer of screw and barrels in India for food extrusion lines for more than 20 years (as in 2026).
We make new segmented screws and also provide complete repair, rebuilding, and fitment of old segment screws, shear locks, and mixing elements at our Ahmedabad factory in India.
We are specialised in large-size screws like 190 mm and 220 mm. We manufacture screws up to 6 meter (6000 mm) in one single piece, ensuring strength, alignment, and long life.
In India, most 2D/3D pellet snack production lines run on extrusion technology with 190 mm screws, and some with 220 mm screws of around 4000 mm (4 meter) length.

Diameter and Length
Screw diameter: 65 mm to 250 mm
Screw length: 6000 MM Segmented and also one peice.
Barrel OD upto 350mm.
Materials:
All grades of Stainless Steel like SS-316, SS-431 or Japanese, Italian, Chinese grades are also availabe. Other Engineering Steel alloy can be used as per customer's order or requirement.
Hardfacing and Bimetallic Coatings:
Superalloys, Bimetallic Metal powders, Ceramic are coated with PTA and HVOF or simple harfacging by weldoverlay deposition method, as per your requirement.
Heat Teatments:
Annealing, T-conditioning, Quenching, Gas nitriding etc as per Material Standard
Hardness: 55-72 HRC
Hardchrome Plating also availabe.
Production time: Within 3-8 weeks depending on the complexity of the part.
